摘要: Abstract Organochlorine pollutants (pesticides and polychlorinated biphenyls) were analysed in farmed wild gilthead sea bream ( Sparus aurata ) tissues (white muscle liver) from the Western Mediterranean (Spain) their diets. Determination was carried out by gas chromatography coupled to tandem mass spectrometry after clean up of fatty extracts normal phase HPLC, with detection limits around 0.1 ng/g. Carbon nitrogen stable isotope ratios also determined samples. compounds concentration found be uniform throughout year fish, both white liver. In contrast, fish showed contamination profiles that reflect environmental factors biological cycle. Although biomagnification for liver 2.4 3.0, respectively 0.15 0.54 specimens, presented higher levels organochlorine contaminants than fish. Nitrogen isotopes determination during gave us a profile related δ 15 N mean values 2.0‰ corresponding close one trophic step. 13 C year, more enriched case The low feed supplied explain concentrations which remain below spite intensive culture conditions level cultured specimens.
