Low-frequency scattering by a slit in a conducting plane

摘要: The problem of diffraction an H polarized plane wave by a narrow slit in perfectly conducting screen can be formulated as integral equation with Hankel function difference kernel. For slits, we replace the first three terms its series expansion and solve exactly resultant equation. results are superior to those obtained solving succession equations, each static kernel, which is traditional approach. Also solved slightly more difficult E polarization. We indicate that method generalized include kernel expansion, multiple different media impedance boundary conditions on screen.
