摘要: The two-dimensional problem of diffraction a plane wave by narrow slit is considered. assumed boundary values on the screen are vanishing either total function or its normal derivative. In former case, differential–integral equation obtained for unknown in slit; latter, pure integral found. Solutions to these equations given form series powers e (where e/π ratio width wavelength), coefficients which depend log e. Expressions found transmission as functions and angle incidence; compared with previous determinations other authors.A brief outline treatment cylindrical slit.
