摘要: We describe the generation of three mAbs that recognize complex class II MHC molecule IEk bound to a peptide derived from carboxyl terminus moth cytochrome c (residues 95-103). Reactivities these are sensitive single alterations in sequence both helices and peptide. The epitopes reagents distinct but overlap substantially. One specifically blocks lymphokine release by T cells responsive this not others. have used another examine how number complexes on an APC is related its ability stimulate cells. find 200-400 per cell necessary sufficient induce degree stimulation, whereas maximum stimulation achieved only if more than 5000 present. analysis indicates activation stochastic process.
