摘要: Abstract The high-spin level structure of 217Ra has been established up to a spin ( 47 2 ) by means in-beam γ-ray and conversion electron spectroscopy with (12,13C, xn) reactions on 208Pb. Positive parity levels case27 + negative-parity states case31 − can be qualitatively understood in terms neutron excitations arising out the shell-model configurations v g 3 9 , i 11 j 15 . isomeric 33 state at 2.4 Me V above it require both proton excitations. El transitions between suggest presence octupole-deformed configurations. Our calculations provide only qualitative description levels. experimental spacings their moderate agreement calculated ones also onset deformation collective vibrational characteristics.
