摘要: Dermatologic conditions are a common presenting complaint in the athletic training room. There many different causes for rashes, and treatment options vary depending on condition severity. Bacterial infections of skin have variety appearances can spread rapidly among individuals. Healthcare providers need to be aware increasing prevalence methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus when making choice antibiotics. Other infectious including tinea herpes, well-described wrestlers; however, these rashes seen any athlete, especially those engaged contact sports. Early recognition appropriate important clear rash reduce others. In addition athletes prone mechanical due friction tight-fitting equipment. Sports medicine must not only diagnose treat but also return-to-play guidelines set forth by governing bodies under which he or she operates.
