摘要: The C and V proteins of the measles virus (MV) have been shown to block signaling type I II interferon (IFN-alpha/beta IFN-gamma). relative contribution inhibition IFN extent which this activity differs in attenuated or wild-type strains MV remains undefined. This study presents a comparison IFN-antagonist activities from four two MV. were more potent inhibitors IFN-inducible reporter gene expression than proteins, effect was unrelated whether protein originated an strain. results also demonstrated importance tyrosine at position 110 IFN-alpha/beta IFN-gamma by protein, identified non-recombinant expressing that impaired due mutation residue.
