摘要: Columnaris disease caused by Gram-negative rod Flavobacterium columnare is one of the most common diseases catfish. F. also a problem in other cultured fish species worldwide. has three major genomovars; we have sequenced representative strain from genomovar I (ATCC 49512, which avirulent catfish) and II (94-081, highly pathogenic catfish). Here present comparative analysis two genomes. Interestingly, ATCC 49512 94-081 meet criteria to be considered different based on Average Nucleotide Identity (90.71% similar) DNA-DNA Hybridization (42.6 % similar). Genome alignment indicated genomes large number rearrangements. However, function-based genomics that strains similar functional capabilities with 2263 conserved orthologous clusters; 290 unique clusters while 391. Both carry type secretion system (T1SS), VI (T6SSiii), IX (T9SS). The CRISPR capacities. genome contains higher insertion sequence families phage regions, more genomic islands regulatory gene capacity. Transposon mutagenesis using Tn4351 yielded six mutants, experimental infections showed hemolysin glycine cleavage protein mutants had 15% 10% mortalities, respectively, wild-type 100% mortalities. Our mutational important information classification genomovars as well potential virulence genes 94-081.
