摘要: Abstract The plutonium that is produced by light water reactors worldwide currently re-used to a limited extent. In the last century, expected introduction of fast and associated need for large amounts did not take place. result stockpile excess has formed, which dominant contributor radiotoxicity spent nuclear fuel storage times from ∼10 2 10 5 years. One option reduce or stabilize utilize this in advanced types, such as thorium-based inert matrix fuels. Because these fuels do contain uranium, consumption rate very high. paper, status research some recent developments are given.
