摘要: Leukocyte responses to chemotactic and other phlogistic stimuli are vital for host defense substantial interest has thus been focused on defining the mechanisms of signal transduction in these cells. Chemoattractants initiate leukocyte activation subsequent binding specific receptors cell surface. Temporal studies show that chemoattractants elicit rapid (≤5 s) increases phosphoinositide metabolism cytosolic calcium levels followed by changes physiological function, example, shape change, superoxide production, or degranulation. The ability pharmacological agents (e.g., ionophores phorbol esters) similar functions suggests central role mobilization, metabolism, protein kinase C activation. Although present different classes chemoattractants, they all appear utilize a common mechanism increasing calcium. also increase cellular cAMP levels, this case calcium-mediated inhibition degradation. This may serve an autoregulatory chemoattractant-induced
