摘要: A comparator has first and second current paths, each passing from an input through a transistor, source to ground, the path also having reference voltage drop element coupled in series with input. The gates of transistors are form mirror. enables higher voltages be compared thresholds above internal supply level without need for dividing resistors reduce voltage. Avoiding such means power dissipation silicon area used can kept lower. ESD vulnerability is reduced since inputs not MOS transistors. Overvoltage protection across gate transistor added.
