摘要: Abstract Commercial, purified poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) in a form of thin film was used for modification by low-temperature air-plasma or short-wavelength UV-irradiation. The changes surface properties were monitored contact angle measurements allowing calculation the free energy as well its polar and dispersive components. Both sources cause oxidation PVC films, which is connected with formation functional groups enhancing polymer wettability. This process very fast efficient but slower during exposure to UV. Storage modified indicates that plasma also conformational occur. In case UV-irradiated secondary, dark reactions (mainly oxidation) take place storage at ambient conditions.
