摘要: Ixodes ricinus is considered as the main vector of Lyme Borreliosis in France. The aim our investigations was to obtain a comprehensive view spatial risk linked distribution species country. Previous studies [1] have provided strong evidence that populations are widely distributed, so objective present work ascertain bacteriological infection tick by agent zoonosis (Borrelia burgdorferi, sensu lato), over French territory, whatever ecological conditions may be. For this purpose, we kept same framework used acarological investigation, phytoecological zoning territory into 54 geographically separate and ecologically distinct units distributed three climatic zones. Batches ticks, picked up these different (only two thirds which were sampled), submitted for investigation. A total 4,673 ticks examined, individually, presence Borrelia immunofluorescence. Percentages according various stages free stages, collected flagging, follows: 4.95% 3,247 nymphs, 11.2% 699 males, 12.5% 727 females. Larvae ignored. Practically all tested harboured bacterium. percentage samples (25 or more) absolutely Borrelia, wherever they came from, very low (not exceeding 10 percent sampled forests). Our study confirms assessment widespread France was, until now, exclusively based on an approximate limited human cases observed
