摘要: Pan-STARRS, a funded project to repeatedly survey the entire visible sky faint limiting magnitudes (m R ~ 24), will have substantial impact on study of Kuiper Belt and outer solar system. We briefly review Pan-STARRS design philosophy sketch some planetary science areas in which we expect this facility make its mark. find ~20,000 Objects within first year operation obtain accurate astrometry for all them weekly or faster cycle. that it revolutionise our knowledge contents dynamical structure
