摘要: Purpose The world of computerized videokeratoscopy is continually evolving. Computerized videokeratoscope contact lens programs boast the capability to accurately design final rigid gas permeable (RGP) parameters and simulate fluorescein patterns. We evaluated EyeSys System 2000 Pro-Fit software (v. 4.0) Humphrey Atlas MasterVue Contact Lens Module A6) for efficiency accuracy in fitting RGP lenses on normal subjects. Methods Balanced manifest refractions, slit lamp examinations, topographical analysis with module were performed compared all eyes. chosen after an optimal simulated pattern was achieved by either accepting initially recommended default or a modification. Final based clinical performance. Results With software, which uses topographic tear clearance protocol set manufacturer, 24/50 (48%) eyes required modifications Nine 50 (18%) further once dispensed. allows custom user as default, 20/35 (57.1%) from fittings provided system. Six 35 (17.1%) subsequent Comparison modules revealed no significant difference (P=0.51), defined any changes parameters; however, made more setting. There success rates between (82.9%) (82%) systems (P=1.00). Conclusion Although both topography guided offered fitting, programmed (EyeSys) did not improve parameter selection manufacturer (Humphrey). need knowledgeable fitter remains guide achieving fit.
