摘要: In 3 studies, the authors explore how repeated exposure to a spoken word affects memory for perceptual attributes associated with (such as talker's voice or word's plurality). Subjects heard list of words; particular words were differing numbers times. At test, subjects estimated frequency each word, instructions give judgments "zero" changed attributes. The experiments demonstrate that improves very little after first few repetitions, although continues improve. extend registration without learning effect (D. L. Hintzman, T. Curran, & B. Oppy, 1992) auditory words, complex (voice), and conditions low high stimulus variability (two many voices).
