摘要: Abstract The effects of flow perturbations on the extent mixing vs. time are examined in a cylindrical vessel partially filled with uniform-sized powder mixture. Mixtures produced by pure rotational motion compared to those undergoing supplemented rocking. Characterization experiments is conducted using solidification and image analysis methods, affording visual inspection internal patterns evaluation composition distributions. Pure causes slow axial mixing. When rocking perturbation, greatly accelerated.
