摘要: Anabolic androgenic steroids (AAS) are among the drugs most used by athletes for improving physical performance, as well aesthetic purposes. A number of papers have showed side effects AAS in different organs and tissues. For example, known to suppress gonadotropin-releasing hormone, luteinizing follicle-stimulating hormone. This study investigates nandrolone on testosterone biosynthesis Leydig cells using various methods, including mass spectrometry, western blotting, confocal microscopy quantitative real-time PCR. The results obtained show that levels increase at a 3.9 μM concentration return basal level 15.6 μM dose nandrolone. Nandrolone-induced increment was associated with upregulation steroidogenic acute regulatory protein (StAR) downregulation 17a-hydroxylase/17, 20 lyase (CYP17A1). Instead, 15.6 µM induced down-regulation CYP17A1. Further vivo studies based these data needed better understand relationship between disturbed homeostasis reproductive system impairment male subjects.
