摘要: Abstract Highly selective colorimetric sensing of Hg2+ ions have been demonstrated in aqueous medium across wide pH range (2.0–10.0) using AuNPs without any specific surface functionality or size and morphological control. stabilized with different capping agents such as PEG, PSS, T-80, PVA, SDS, PVP were synthesized ascorbic acid reducing agent characterized by absorption spectroscopy high-resolution transmission electron microscope (HR-TEM). Interestingly, addition into exhibited highly colour change. The controlled studies indicate that might play a significant role converting to metallic Hg promotes amalgamation AuNPs. concentration dependent the can detect up ppb (10−9 M) level. Importantly, T-80- PSS-AuNPs showed (2.0–10.0). recovery interference demonstrate good selectivity for presence other metal cations.
