摘要: As demand for more power increases, compression ratios and operating temperatures keep rising. High speeds combined with high make turbomachinery sealing applications even challenging. Friction wear performance of engine seal components is directly related to service life, output overall efficiency. In order confirm sufficient material pairs should be tested under conditions similar conditions. temperature tribo-testing difficult, typically conducted by heating samples locally. Testing simulated gives researchers a chance compare different candidates specific applications. This work presents custom designed linear reciprocating set up. While most systems remain limited 800 C, the presented system capable test up 1250 C due its simple design that allows use commercially available ovens. The at 1Hz speed 25 mm stroke.
