摘要: Larvae of most animals go through large changes in size. Because change size can lead to ability gain food and predation risk, behaviour are predicted reflect this. Models consider amounts the same behaviour, but different selective pressures on larval sizes may also qualitative differences behavioural repertoire. In damselfly Ischnura verticalis we observed ontogenetic under controlled laboratory conditions. We found that frequency duration feeding related activity were increased larger instars. Larger larvae had higher transition probabilities abdomen wave, straight raise, rotate + head out. repertoire changed with development : some patterns performed almost exclusively by smaller (F - 4 F 7) while others 3 0).
