摘要: Abstract In the work, ethylene–octene copolymer (POE) toughened isotatic polypropylene (PP) blends with different phase morphologies and crystalline structures were successfully fabricated their influence on toughness of PP was discussed. POE domains not only played role stress concentration to induce field around them, but also acted as deliverer transmit deep into matrix. Elongated transmitted better, spherical ones induced a larger field. As for structure matrix, compared “bundle-like” β-crystals, well-developed β-spherulites could The combinations morphology Only blend elongated achieve super-high toughness. To this goal requires simultaneous optimization nucleating agent content, content composition, processing conditions. This work provides good example better understand rubbers matrix in rubber-toughed polymer system.
