摘要: Abstract Objective To determine the prevalence of diabetes-related complications in subjects with fibrocalculous pancreatic diabetes (FCPD) and compare them type 2 mellitus matched for age, sex, duration diabetes. Methods The study group comprised 277 FCPD patients diabetes-matched diabetic patients. All underwent a detailed clinical examination, fasting blood samples were obtained biochemical studies. Peripheral Doppler was used diagnosis peripheral vascular disease (PVD). Vibratory perception threshold (VPT) determined using biothesiometry neuropathy. Diagnosis coronary artery (CAD) based on medical history 12-lead resting ECG. Retinal photographs retinopathy modified version Early Treatment Diabetic Retinopathy Study (ETDRS) grading system. Results had lower body mass index (BMI) ( P =.028), =.026); nephropathy: diastolic pressure =.016) glycosylated hemoglobin =.040); neuropathy: age =.003), =.001). Among FCPD, systolic =.013), =.021), =.057), =.010), =.024) nephropathy =.011) BMI =.010) Conclusion: retinopathy, nephropathy, neuropathy, PVD similar among patients, but CAD
