摘要: Abstract Early geographies focussed on children have recorded their environmental and spatial perceptions. Contemporary theoretical methodological advances in, beyond, children’s supported a more complex engagement with topics. Complementing this work, study of young people’s experience knowledge river in southern New Zealand is presented. Data were gathered from four contrasting locations within one, 5650 sq. km, catchment, employing child-oriented, multi-method approaches. analysis confirms existing literature highlighting how people are competent producers varying experiences understandings. Some variation can be appreciated by focussing factors age, gender catchment location. Together these findings relevant to both academic planning circles implications for participation management noted as key area further development work kind.
