摘要: The results of a genomewide scan for genes conferring susceptibility to anxiety disorders in the Icelandic population are described. aim study was locate that predispose by utilizing extensive genealogical records and relative homogeneity population. Participants were recruited two stages: (1) Initial case-identification screening disorders, using Stamm Screening Questionnaire, followed aggregation into extended families, with help our genealogy database; (2) those who fulfilled diagnostic family criteria underwent more detailed workup based on Composite International Diagnostic Interview. close relatives also identified additional affected members within families. After genotyping performed 976 microsatellite markers, affected-only linkage analysis done, allele-sharing LOD scores calculated program Allegro. Linkage 25 each which at least one individual had panic disorder (PD), resulted score 4.18 D9S271, chromosome 9q31. intermarker distance 4.4 cM average, whereas it 1.5 linked region as markers added increase information content. may be relevant not only PD but general, since included patients other forms anxiety.
