摘要: Publisher Summary Boron-containing hydrotreating catalysts have been far less studied than phosphorous-containing catalysts, although they are commercially available and claimed in several patents. The literature on boron-containing supports gives conflicting results, for example, the effect of boron side-crushing strength (SCS). or can be prepared by various methods, including impregnation, coprecipitation, hydrolysis alkoxides, kneading. This chapter describes preparation kneading pseudoboehmite with boric acid ammonia. also determines formation mesopores macropores surface area crystal structure. Boron raises temperature γ alumina. addition, up to 3.7 %, increases support. bimodal pore-size distribution, which is observed supports, reflects distribution dough at time boric-acid retain a high SCS after impregnation.
