摘要: French dairy herds (n = 534) were enrolled in the National 'Zero Mastitis Objective' Program to highlight management practices characterizing very low somatic cell score (SCS) herds. The studied stratified into 2 groups. first group (LOW) included within 5 percentiles and second (MED) 50 55 of on basis mean SCS for 36 mo preceding program. Potential explanatory variables, collected through questionnaire surveys, analyzed using multistep logistic regression models. Twenty-six variables significant factors final models, which 18 considered as primary SCS. probability a herd belonging LOW was associated with: (1) regular use teat spraying; (2) herdsman precise his techniques; (3) less than 1 person-year used at activities other herd; (4) dipping after mammary infusion dry off; (5) heifers kept calving pen around parturition; (6) cows locked feed-line lockups milking; (7) with prepartum Ca restriction; (8) nondamp pasture; (9) culled when least one damaged teat; (10) pasture not drinking water from river; (11) disinfecting ends alcohol before intramammary off. MED milking housed straw yard; checking mastitis only beginning 2-wk prepartum; no treatment clot observed milk successive milkings; distance herdsman's house cowshed >300 m; dirty teats washed free access during bad weather; more 18% spring calvings. should be applied part thorough mastitis-control program adapted each herd.
