摘要: Abstract Estrogen production by the preimplantation equine embryo is presumed to be important in maternal-conceptus communication mare. The synthesis of C18 estrogens from C19 androgens requires cytochrome P450 aromatase (P450arom) conceptus, but little information available on specific tissue location or potential developmental patterns expression for horse. goal this research was localize P450arom conceptus immunocytochemistry and situ hybridization. Intact blastocyst-stage embryos were collected nonsurgical flush Days 12–15 pregnancy, fixed 4% paraformaldehyde, paraffin-embedded. Aromatase protein localized using rabbit anti-human placental antiserum with a detection system utilizing peroxidase 3-amino-9-ethylcarbazole. For hybridization, sections incubated sense antisense [35S]UTP-labeled cRNA probes prepared cDNA. transcript abundant ...
