摘要: This paper presents a study aimed at evaluating and comparing the performance of five selected solar resource monitoring stations in Kingdom Saudi Arabia (KSA). Also, present an overview current electricity demand since KSA's power sector relies heavily on liquid fuels. The data used this have been collected from new atlas which was launched by KACARE for collecting along with other parameters through installed across country. results showed potential irradiance during year different places would contribute to implementation plans renewable energy (RE) projects. Selected City Northern region KSA has highest amount irradiation approximate annual 82450.5 Wh/m2/year, followed southern city 73199.1 Wh/m2/year. GHI DNI were compared earlier published NREL 2002 they close agreement less than 10% difference.
