摘要: Indigenous peoples across Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) already perceive experience negative effects of climate change variability. Although overall economic impact on gross domestic product (GDP) is significant, what particularly problematic that it falls disproportionately poor including indigenous peoples, who constitute about 6.5 percent population in region are among its poorest most vulnerable (Hall Patrinos 2006). This book examines social implications climatic variability for communities LAC options improving their resilience adaptability to these phenomena.
