SUS users' knowledge of and attitude to HPV virus and vaccines available in Brazil

摘要: OBJECTIVE : To investigate knowledge of HPV and vaccines in men women, users the Brazilian Unified Health System, intention to get themselves their teenage children vaccinated. METHODS A descriptive, cross-sectional study with 286 women (18-49 years old) 252 (18-60 old), five primary health units two polyclinics Campinas, SP, Southeastern Brazil, was carried out. Participants were interviewed 2011 using a structured questionnaire. Bivariate Poisson regression analysis performed identify variables associated vaccines, participants vaccination intentions. RESULTS Almost 40.0% reported having heard 28.9% mentioned adequate information. The main information source media (41.7%). Only 8.6% had vaccines.
