摘要: Melatonin, as an indoleamine molecule, regulates a wide range of physiological functions during the growth, morphogenesis and response plants to biotic abiotic stresses. In this research, effect exogenous application melatonin (0 (distilled water), 50, 100 150 µM) leaves Moldavian balm grown under different levels drought stress (100% (control), 80%, 60% 40% field water capacity) was investigated. The results indicate that which were treated with µM showed greatest leaf surface area, lateral branching, flower length activities antioxidant enzymes (superoxide dismutase, guaiacol peroxidase ascorbate peroxidase). Foliar had no significant difference in catalase activity comparison control other concentrations normal, moderate severe conditions. lowest H₂O₂ content lipid peroxidation (electrolyte leakage, malondialdehyde aldehydes) obtained at concentration stress. This also significantly increased chlorophyll enhanced relative content; however, foliar on proline compared normal suggested more effective than 50 reducing adverse effects
