摘要: Few therapeutic and diagnostic tools specifically aim at T cells in autoimmune disorders, but are a narrow target these diseases? Lessons may be learned from celiac disease (CeD), one of the few disorders where T cell driving antigens known, i.e. dietary gluten proteins. clonotypes specific to expanded, persist for decades express distinct phenotype CeD patients. Cells with this increased also other conditions. Accordingly, disease-specific CD4+ form an immunological scar probably disorders. We discuss approaches how such targeted better treatment diagnosis via their antigen specificity or expression characteristic phenotypic markers.
