摘要: Medium osmolality is an important factor to consider during recombinant Chinese hamster ovary (rCHO) cell culture. Several studies have shown that hyperosmolality improves the specific foreign protein productivity (q), although effect of on q in rCHO culture seems differ between lines, clones, and gene dosages. As remedy this problem, addition osmoprotective compounds, such as glycine betaine, or regulation anti-apoptotic proteins, are offered potential methods alleviate and, thus, production hyperosmotic culture.
