SEXUAL BEHAVIORS, SEXUAL ORIENTATION AND GENDER IDENTITY IN ADULT INTERSEXUALS: A PILOT STUDY

摘要: Purpose: Sexual preference and adjustment of intersexuals have rarely been investigated. Interview techniques were used to explore these issues.Materials Methods: Ten adult (average age 34.2 years) randomly selected from Intersex Society North America members. Of the 10 subjects 8 had initially gender assigned as female 2 male. A structured telephone interview was assess sexual orientation, activity satisfaction with assignment.Results: debut occurred at 18.1 years (range 15 22).
