摘要: Older people in institutional care are, for the most part, physically inactive and do not interact with each other or medical staff. Therefore, reducing sedentary behaviour is a new, important, modifiable lifestyle variable that can improve health of elderly people. The aim project was to assess degree improvement functional performance possibility changing habitual, free time among under by applying physical training verbal stimulation. study covered older people, aged 65-85 years, who are living homes Southeastern Poland. Those met eligibility criteria were enrolled assigned, at random, one four parallel groups: basic exercises (n = 51), combined stimulation exercise 51). No statistically significant differences baseline characteristics observed across groups. Data collected 12 24-weeks following completion intervention. In group stimulation, comparison exercises, greatest positive short-term impact intervention demonstrated terms fitness (increased 1.31 points; 95% confidence interval (CI) 0.93-1.70), gait speed (improved 0.17 m/s, CI 0.13-0.22), hand grip strength (by over 4 kg; 2.51-4.95), upper-limb flexibility 10 cm; 5.82-12.65). There also increase level free-time activity an quality life, especially as expressed domain overall functioning. Our showed program, effective improving raising activity.
