摘要: This study evaluated the effect of locally applied heat on transdermal delivery testosterone. Six healthy adult volunteers were tested three times while receiving a 5 mg androgen patch, same patch with heat-generating and no at all over 12 hours. Statistically significant differences in mean maximum serum testosterone concentration values seen. Heat plus resulted 939 ng/dl versus 635 (patch only) 425 (no patch). (Heat + vs. patch: p < 0.001; = 0.003.) The area under curve plasma time means 4114 ng/dl.h 1985 for patch-only group (p 0.001). use improved absorption decreased to peak concentrations, resulting statistically difference concentrations compared without heat.
