摘要: Prolonged afferent stimulation of the rat dentate gyrus in vivo leads to degeneration only those cells that lack immunoreactivity for calcium binding proteins parvalbumin and calbindin. In order test hypothesis protect against effects prolonged stimulation, intracellular recordings were made hippocampal slices from proteins. Calcium protein-negative showed electrophysiological signs deterioration during stimulation; containing protein did not. When neurons without impaled with microelectrodes chelator BAPTA, BAPTA was allowed diffuse into cells, these no deterioration. These results indicate that, a complex tissue central nervous system, an activity-induced increase can trigger processes leading cell deterioration, increasing capacity decreases its vulnerability damage.
