摘要: Abstract Recent increases in the price of gasoline have influenced urban travel, but reduced automobile travel volumes only slightly. This has occurred because is a small part total travel. Incentives to use, such as free parking at work place, still make it an attractive option for most commuters. Pricing policy can be used influence patterns, uncoordinated pricing transit and alternatives merely corrects inefficient inequitable subsidies one mode by adding others. As result, all transportation modes are underpriced, together they continue encourage suburbanization increasing volumes.
