Genome-wide association study reveals candidate genes related to low temperature tolerance in rice ( Oryza sativa ) during germination

摘要: In this study, relative germination percentage (RGP) and delayed mean time (DMGT) were measured in various rice accessions at the stage carried out association analysis to identify candidate genes related low temperature (LTG) using a natural population comprising 137 cultivars inbred lines selected from Korean core set. Genome-wide study using ~ 1.44 million high-quality SNPs, which identified by re-sequencing all collections, revealed 48 on chromosome 10 55 11 high peak SNP sites of associated loci for RGP DMGT, respectively. By detecting highly variations located inside genic regions performing functional annotation genes, we detected 23 18 DMGT LTG. addition, haplotype sequence gene (Os10g0371100) with trait (Os11t0104240-00) correlation between sequences phenotypes. Several novel LTG-related previously known function during uncovered their substantial variations. These represent valuable resources molecular breeding genetic improvement cold tolerance germination.
