摘要: Abstract To elucidate the mechanism by which endothelin-1 (ET-1) is released from renal epithelial cells, we have investigated effects of several compounds on release ET-1-like immuno-reactivity (LI) LLCPK 1 cell line. Thrombin, transforming growth factor-β, cytokines (tumor necrotizing factor-α, interleukin-1β), and phorbol ester stimulated ET-1-LI in a time- dose-dependent manner. The cytokine-induced was not affected indomethacin. Northern blot analysis using cDNA for porcine preproET-1 as probe revealed single major band corresponding to size ET-1 mRNA . These data indicate that gene also expressed cells regulated similar endothelial cells.
