摘要: Hospitality graduates must be prepared to lead a diverse employee population. This study helps students gain the perspective of non-English speakers. It identifies barriers that occur in multi-cultural environment and provides tools communicate despite language hurdles. qualitative found combination gestures demonstration were most valuable non-verbal forms communication. Participants could empathize with nonEnglish speakers even though they believed immigrants should learn enough effective. The participants thought it was difficult stress exact details when leading speakers, particularly area food safety.
