Fundamental trade-offs on green wireless networks

摘要: Traditional mobile wireless network mainly design focuses on ubiquitous access and large capacity. However, as energy saving environmental protection become global demands inevitable trends, researchers engineers need to shift their focus energy-efficiency-oriented design, that is, green radio. In this article, we propose a framework for radio research integrate the fundamental issues are currently scattered. The skeleton of consists four tradeoffs: deployment efficiency-energy efficiency, spectrum bandwidth-power, delay-power. With help trade-offs, demonstrate key performance/cost indicators all strung together.
