Reverse Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy from Myasthenic Crisis: A Case Report

摘要: A 34 year old female with undiagnosed myasthenia gravis (MG) presented shortness of breath and weakness. She was diagnosed community acquired pneumonia myasthenic crisis (MC). Her hospital course complicated by hypoxemic respiratory failure requiring intubation echocardiography revealing a hyper-dynamic apex basilar hypokinesis consistent Reverse Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy (RTCM). We present the first published case RTCM from MC review existing cases stress induced cardiomyopathies in MG patients.
