摘要: The modulation of [Ca2+]i by parathyroid hormone (PTH) has been extensively studied in vertebrates. present study examined the effects PTH on isolated invertebrate neurons B5 from buccal ganglia pond snail, Helisoma trivolvis, utilizing Fura-2 fluorescence technique. Bovine PTH, bPTH-(1–84), induced a slow and sustained increase B5. In contrast, elevation extracellular K+ concentration 1.7 mM to 15 rapid transient [Ca2+]i. Simultaneous application KCl or presence bPTH-(1–84) additively increased An was also agonist [bPTH-(1–34)], but not antagonist [bPTH-(3–34)]. absence calcium, lanthanum (2 mM) ω-conotoxin (10 μM), bath solution abolished effect Furthermore, our results demonstrated that due hormonal voltage-dependent Na+ channels Na+Ca2+ exchanger. this show can modulate an identified neuron mainly promoting calcium influx via N-like channel.
