摘要: Abstract Dissolved nickel at concentrations above 1 mg l −1 was inimical to the methanogenic process either directly or indirectly via toxic metabolic end-products of tolerant degradative organisms. Many hydrolytic species bacteria in digester were inhibited levels dissolved 12 . Increased carbohydrate fermentation, as judged by starch hydrolysis, while protein hydrolysing (and amino acid fermenting) populations selected for. Dosing with caused a build up higher molecular weight fatty acids digester, several which are derived exclusively from highlighting altered emphasis more bacterial population. Nickel, heavy metal, exerts primary effect area methanogenesis but is less aspect overall digestion process.
