摘要: The concentration effects of phenol and nine monosubstituted phenols (catechol, resorcinol, hydroquinone, 2-chlorophenol, 3-chlorophenol, 4-chlorophenol, 2-nitrophenol, 3-nitrophenol, 4-nitrophenol) on the methanogenic fermentation acetate were evaluated with batch anaerobic toxicity assays. rate methane production decreased progressively increasing phenolic compounds. inhibitory effect substituted toward acetate-utilizing methanogens was more correlated to substituent type rather than position. inhibition in order nitrophenols > chlorophenols hydroxyphenols. Hydroxyphenols less unsubstituted phenol. Experimental data analyzed using three common models (competitive, noncompetitive, uncompetitive) by Marquardt method nonlinear regression Statistical Analysis System (SAS) computer programs. noncompetitive model found best fit experimental constant, \IK\dI\N, determined at about 1–5 mg/L for nitrophenols, 100–400 chlorophenols, 1000–2000 hydroxyphenols, 900
