摘要: The UAE is well known for its success in attracting branch campuses to two of economic free zones—Knowledge Village and the Dubai International Academic City. But isn’t only emirate successfully involved cross-border education. Two other emirates—Abu Dhabi Ras Al Khaimah—are actively engaged international education research efforts as hosting campuses. Totally they host largest number any country world. A striking feature hub approach that there no national plan or coordinating mechanism. Each develops own strategic local initiatives. It widely recognized dependent on foreign workforce move it from an oil-based economy one more service knowledge oriented. To end, needs talent realizes becoming will support train retain large expatriate population students attract workers region beyond.
