摘要: The possibility that ammonium (NH4+) accumulation is linked to the senescence of detached rice (Oryza sativa) leaves induced by copper (Cu) was investigated. CuSO4 effective in promoting leaves. Both and CuCl2 NH4+ leaves, indicating copper. Sulfate salts Mg, Mn, Zn, Fe were ineffective inducing Cu found be prior accumulation. Free radical scavengers, such as glutathione thiourea, inhibited caused at same time Cu-induced current results suggest not associated with Cu, but part overall expression oxidative damage an excess Cu. Evidence presented show copper-induced attributed a decrease glutamine synthetase activity increase reduction nitrate.
