摘要: We demonstrate a system for picking of mid-infrared and terahertz (THz) radiation pulses from the free-electron laser (FEL) FELBE operating at repetition rate 13 MHz. Single are reflected by dense electron-hole plasma in Ge slab that is photoexcited amplified near-infrared (NIR) systems rates 1 kHz 100 kHz, respectively. The peak intensity picked up to 400 times larger than residual pulses. required NIR fluence wavelengths range 5 μm 30 discussed. In addition, we show reflectivity decays on time scale ps ns dependent FEL laser. switch enables experiments with require high power but lower average power. Furthermore, well suited investigate processes decay μs ms regime, i.e., much longer 77 long pulse period FELBE.
